I am dead serious about this compost project. Today, I took my dog Lucy for a walk and I spied a pallet by the curb in the neighborhood with a sign on it. "Aha!" I thought "Here is a piece of my new compost bin, waiting for me to pick it up!" 'cause, when people put things at the curb in my neighborhood (which they frequently do), the sign usually says "Free" if there is a sign at all. Usually, they just throw stuff out and let everyone have at it! Well, when we reached the pallet and the other side of the sign, the sign did not say "free" but was rather an advertisement for stone masonry. The pallet probably held the stone. DANG! I'll check back in a few days.
